I didn’t know anything about Nathan or his work when we picked him to do our wedding and engagement pictures, but he was most definitely the best choice!! He was so easy to work with and is so creative with his shots. You can tell he loves what he does. All of our pictures are gorgeous so far and I cannot wait to see the rest. This guy... there's just no better way to put it. A-mazing. He took the time to get to know my wife and I before our wedding, got a feel for our personalities and preferences, braved a storm that news channels were labeling "historic" and "catastrophic", and in addition to being a kickass photographer, was also pretty much my bastion of calmness whenever I was stressed out due to the wedding day flood predictions. He pretty much made me feel like the rain wasn't a obstacle, but just a chance at some unique and awesome photos. And they were! He is extremely adaptable, professional, fun, and has a near superhuman ability to get the best behaviors out of family members who take pride in intentionally sabotaging photographs. He even makes their attempts at sabotage *work*, in spite of their best efforts. Get this dude to photo your wedding, you won't be disappointed. Working with Nathan was nothing short of amazing! From our first phone call I knew he was going to be the perfect photographer for our wedding and he went above my expectations. From the moment he arrived he was very helpful, from putting on my 17 month old sons clip on tie to giving picture slimming tips to moving furniture, I just can't say enough about him. Not only was he super helpful, he was also very comfortable and made all of our guests comfortable (I continue to hear from our guests how great our photographer was), I honestly felt like he was one of our friends that belonged at our wedding. As for the pictures, lets just say I wanted to buy them all, they turned out so great! Nathan did a wonderful job capturing a mix of candids as well as posed photographs and never seemed to get tired of me asking for just one more picture (that seemed to last all night). Overall, Nathan was incredible from start to finish, he has always been quick to respond to all of my questions and is pleasant and easy to work with. Nathan was so awesome to work with! He photographed an engagement session as well as our wedding day, and we have received tons of compliments on the photos! Nathan really captures the mood of the day in his photos, and he is definitely not an "in your face" photographer. His photos are all very natural and do not have a posed feeling. He will, however, direct you on how to place an arm, hand, etc so that the photo comes out well, and you will not look awkward! We can't wait to use Nathan down the road for other life events. Nathan is an absolute doll and one of the most amazing photographers I've ever known. We had our wedding in an old movie theatre. I had resigned myself to having OKAY pictures - I mean, it's an old dark theatre, so the lighting isn't ideal, and unless I wanted to hire a magician, I would have to settle for mediocre shots of the ceremony. To my delight, the ceremony pictures came out crystal clear and gorgeous. You would think you were looking at at a flipping magazine photo spread! How the heck did he do that? Maybe he IS a magician. Nathan is extremely efficient, which is of utmost importance on your wedding day. Time goes by so, so quickly, and you need to cherish every single moment as much as you possibly can. Thanks to Nathan's utter professionalism and ability to get wonderful shots quickly and perfectly, I was able to do just that. I'm sitting here three days after my wedding with a huge smile on my face. It could not have been more perfect, and Nathan was a huge part of that. I've already gotten a sneak peek at some of the pictures and they are AMAZING. There's a great assortment of posed shots and candids and portraits. Matt and I are so lucky Nathan was there to chronicle the memories of our beautiful day. Nathan did an awesome job with stealthily taking pictures on the sly. I didn't even realize he was snapping away 90% of the time! Maybe in addition to being a magician, he's a ninja. He continually helped calm my sometimes frazzled nerves with the right words. Maybe he's a therapist as well. Magician, ninja, therapist. Any future bride and groom would be lucky to have this triple threat on their team.
